Hoy hemos vuelto a masticar hojas de coca por recomendaciones del guía, nuestra ruta llegaría a un punto máximo de 4.910 Mts. De altitud, el oxígeno seria escaso y para evitar el mal de altura lo mejor era ingerir agua y masticar hojas de coca. Y para aclimatarnos un poco a la altura. Junto a la pequeña cría de Llama.

Chronicling my first year with a lap-band. Week 2 Weigh In: Down 4 pounds this week. This week’s loss puts me closer to my mini goal. I wanted to be 240 before June 14th when I see my surgeon next. That leaves me with 9 pounds left to go. That’s about 3 pounds a week, and although that sounds like a lot, at my weight with the exercise I started pounding into this week, it really shouldn’t be a problem. Exploringbas | goes Central Asia
Again Exploringbas is on a travel. This time it is different as Going East. Wednesday the 25th of February 2012, Paula Ocampo and I have started our journey to Argentinia with the idea of spending a few months in Buenos Aires before heading further. The trip will go through Brazil, Uruguay and Argentinia. We travel by thumb where possible. We would love to go further by thumb or even by bike to Patagonia, Chile, Peru and who knows where else.
