Sunday, April 21, 2013. 1 C butter, softened. 190; C packed brown sugar. 190; C plus 2 T granulated sugar, divided. 2 C uncooked rolled oats. 1 ½ C flour. 188; C plus 2 T cocoa powder, divided. 2 T ground cinnamon. Preheat oven to 375. Lightly grease or line cookie sheet. Beat sugars and butter then add eggs and mix well. Add oats,. Flour , ¼ C cocoa and soda. Stir until well blended. Mix remaining cocoa, sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Remove to wire rack to cool.

I think grandma really didn't measure her ingredients and it had to do something with her well water or maybe you can't duplicate treasured memories.
