Life is like a book, and if you haven't traveled you have read only one page! Tuesday, January 17, 2012. In the lovely world of animals. My eyes were wrested open by a loud sound. I woke up with a start,. Is what you get! Sadly we only had jackets packed in and had opted for what we termed 'light' packing. No woolens, no warmers.oo la la! Adventurous aren't we ;) The previous evening had been equally exciting with the jeep safari.and the trails we followed. We gathered some very interesting facts and som...

Life is like a book, and if you haven't traveled you have read only one page! Friday, May 13, 2011. Close your eyes and IMAGINE.you are breathing cool crisp air of the hills and vales, so crisp that it goes *crunch* when you attempt to dig your teeth into it,. Out at a distant farm are a few quaint cottages belonging to a warm hearted farmer (erstwhile Bollywood fraternity, director, producer) Mansoor Khan who runs AcresWild (. When the fruits of the effort are visible. Peas in a pod. I milked the cow...

Talking Post: I never cease to amaze me
http://talkingpost.blogspot.com/2009/03/i-never-cease-to-amaze-me.html
Wednesday, March 4, 2009. I never cease to amaze me. Yesterday was my bday. Well no cookies for guessing my age.because it hardly matters. After a while one stops counting. At last count I was umm.urr.25 I think :). If you ever happen to see me, you will never guess my true age. I am blessed to look young. Although there are times I wish I looked a little older (and may be fatter) so I could throw my weight around, it is never gonna be. And I have been reading that you ought to be a yes parent! Simple te...

Courtesy of Robert Osborne, the primetime host and anchor of the Turner Classic Movies, here is something you would never know without watching movies,"If you decide to start dancing in the street, everyone else on the street will know all the steps" ;). Wednesday, August 30, 2006. My favourite cartoon strip - Calvin and Hobbes. Interestingly Calvin never turns old (he has always been 6! The only 2 kids in this strip in addition to Calvin (ofcourse), are Susie (the woman brigade) and Moe (the bully).

Thursday, April 16, 2009. I am so. internetish. If you are wondering what that means, let me explain. If ever you google anything on earth (or outside of it), you will get adequate evidence to support or overrule any hypothesis that you harbor. I was running a search on f"lourides and toddlers".I got adequate evidence to believe it is "good" and "bad" for toddlers. End result - I am well informed but as confused as earlier. Let me know if you have ever had a similar situation :). View my complete profile.

Talking Post: June 2007
http://talkingpost.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 20, 2007. My family = Idiosyncratic. Yes, I am talking about my family - my idiosyncratic family ; the Kamaths and I am not the only person who thinks that. Let me illustrate with an example -. My mom enquired. And VK said "what if I had to use the other end of the quilt towards my face today! My mom was too puzzled to utter a word. I was at the far corner listening to all that transpired and couldn't help snicker. I complained to hubby who in turn inspected the sheet and said "I dont see...

Talking Post: Oh I miss the nanny...
http://talkingpost.blogspot.com/2008/04/holiday-that-never-was.html
Sunday, April 20, 2008. Oh I miss the nanny. Right now all I am thinking is .was I in my right mind to make a bold decision of a holiday with Li'l T sans the nanny. Gawd! What was I thinking? Never thought I will miss baby's nanny so much. This holiday has only taught me how indispensible THE nanny is! The most important P in my life these days. Slice of my life these days (now that I am on a holiday! Get woken up by a wailing hungry baby. Put her to bed. Console her every time she wails. Heard of a list...

Saturday, June 14, 2008. Fringe benefits of Failure and the importance of imagination. I have been hearing about Rowling's address to the Harvard university graduates. It was only by accident that I chanced upon it here. I simply enjoyed reading it and couldn't stop. The end did not disappoint me either. I am sure you will enjoy reading it too. At the end, all I need to say is 'perserverence pays'. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Heard of a listening post? Marketing and Research Info.
