Saturday, May 30, 2009. We went to the doctor on Thursday and got the news Josh had been praying for! I am not mad or sad but every girl wants a little girl and every guy wants a little boy so I guess Josh won this time! So the actual ultrasound was quite comical. I had just gotten on the table, got the jelly on the belly, and she was trying to adjust the picture on the screen when this picture popped up=). It is a good thing we wanted to know because he was showing it off! These are both of his feet!

Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Speaking of the baby.I go to the doctor next Thursday, May 28 for my 5 month checkup and for an ultrasound. So we will finally know what the sex of the baby is. I am just hoping for a healthy, happy baby. I would prefer a little girl but would be just as happy with a little boy. Well, this weekend is full of more graduation parties and Memorial Day parties. Friday night - Halee, Sunday - Lenzie and Ryan, Monday - VanMeter partay! Nothing like being prepared!

Saturday, June 27, 2009. I needed to update so here it is:. So we will just wait and see what happens! We still haven't decided on a name for the baby boy! We started looking into things for the baby registry. Wow, there are so many options and we were both overwhelmed. Thursday, May 28, 2009. Just saw our new baby on ultrasound for the first time. there is no greater joy. Saturday, May 23, 2009. I read The Road (Cormac McCarthy) in two days. It is a profoundly moving story. I could not stop reading. McCarthy's style of writing is so full of emotion that it deserves to be savored, but I was racing through it to find resolution. you need to read this book.
