Not only are they packed with fiber and protein, they’re also low calorie and so versatile. I cook off a whole one pound bag and then keep them in the fridge and use them all week long. They’re perfect in soup, tossed in a salad, or eaten just on their own. Lentils are simple enough to prepare, all you need is…. 16 oz of lentils. 6-8 cups of water. 2 chicken bouillon cubes.

My favorites there changed over the years and the last few years it was their thin crust pesto chicken pizza. I LOVED that pizza. On a rainy and lazy weekend, what can one do to get warm? Have beer of course! Mom doesn't drink, so I came up with this recipe just for her. Ka's Beer Mussels (KBM). 1 onion - sliced. 4 cloves garlic - chopped. 3 chilli padi - sliced/chopped. Salt to taste (about 1 tsp). 1] Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in pan, medium heat. 2] Add in onions and garlic. 3] Stir fry till soft. 4] Turn heat to high. Add mussels, chilli padi and beer (just pour everything in). 5] Cover and leave to cook for 5min.
