Foodie Judy & Her Kitchen Garden

Foodie Judy and Her Kitchen Garden. Tuesday, October 18, 2016. I like to make these little mummies at Halloween. It's amazing what putting eyes on food can do to your plate. They are just Lil'Smokies wrapped with strips of Pillsbury crescent rolls. And mustard eyes! Labels: bound for bento. Friday, July 15, 2016. These Japanese eggplants are roughly the size of hens' eggs. I only put one plant in the garden this year, and it appears to be plenty. Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Sunday, January 31, 2016. My ve...

Foodie Judy & Her Kitchen Garden: Red Cabbage, Purple Cabbage

http://foodiejudy.blogspot.com/2014/06/red-cabbage-purple-cabbage.html

Foodie Judy and Her Kitchen Garden. Saturday, June 7, 2014. Red Cabbage, Purple Cabbage. I planted nine, but one had a twin. So I have ten cabbages to harvest and soon. This is the first. Vibrant fellow, isn't he? Nature is so amazing. Look at how tightly formed that head is. I made kimchee with this one. Probably have to donate it to The Mister because I made it too spicy. I'm too old for the Cabbage Patch Doll craze, but I can totally see where it came from. June 10, 2014 at 12:19 PM. In My Kitchen Gar...

Foodie Judy & Her Kitchen Garden: Merry Solstice!

http://foodiejudy.blogspot.com/2013/12/merry-solstice.html

Foodie Judy and Her Kitchen Garden. Friday, December 27, 2013. The cork sculpture was The Mister's creation. The pizza was mine, of course. I'm taking a couple of weeks off from work, so we've been going out for Japanese food and staying home for homemade Italian food and good wine. We burned a yule log for the Solstice, a coastal live oak log from Cambria. It was given to us by a dear friend who passed away in March from a very quick spreading cancer. So sad. Cheers to the New Year! Some cookbooks I have.

Foodie Judy and Her Kitchen Garden. Monday, July 15, 2013. Maybe this King Snake feels like he fits right with the hoses. He's sure knew I was there, and he knew just where he was going too - down a hole. Personally I am very glad he is black and white. I really don't want to step on him. http://foodiejudy.blogspot.com/2013/09/tomatoes-vs-sept-vogue.html

Foodie Judy and Her Kitchen Garden. Monday, September 16, 2013. Tomatoes Vs Sept Vogue. This is 2 quarts of Juliet tomatoes that needs to be processed. I'm thinking of blanching skinning and freezing. Just to the right of Project BSF is a ten pound Vogue that needs processing too. Who is going to win the afternoon with Judy? Seasons Of Sovereignty: Pursuing The Beauty Of Unity

http://shootforeternity.blogspot.com/2008/06/pursuing-beauty-of-unity_01.html

Sunday, June 1, 2008. Pursuing The Beauty Of Unity. For those who don't come around SFE very often, this post is a continuation of ongoing through over the past many blogs (4 or 5 I think). If you care about following the train of thought, I just thought I should heads-up you on that.:). It is hard for me to put this into words so I would like to just copy what I just shared with a friend so I don't have to figure out another way to say it. Here is part of my letter:. Seasons Of Sovereignty: Explanations

http://shootforeternity.blogspot.com/2010/12/ecplanations.html

Monday, December 6, 2010. I've just about given up on blogging. I love it but I've had so little time for it. As I pondered what to do I was thinking a great deal about my grandma. She lives in Indiana and she does not have a computer. I always feel bad that I'm not good at keeping up with what we are up to for her. Labels: Transfered Blog Writings. Gods sovereignty is so amazing. It is what I cling to when my days, weeks,or months are difficult. I look forward to reading when you do blog. I'm a wife and...

Seasons Of Sovereignty: What, Exactly, Was It I Was Supposed To STOP?

http://shootforeternity.blogspot.com/2008/06/what-exactly-was-it-i-was-supposed-to.html

Sunday, June 1, 2008. What, Exactly, Was It I Was Supposed To STOP? I never made it back yesterday to comment on the sermon thoughts. I'm feeling much better today and the kids are outside in the lovely weather. Taking my laptop out (fun! You know how we tell our children that God disciplines us too. You know, when they get a spanking and say that it's not fair that mommies and daddies don't get spankings and we tell them that God does spank us in a way? The scenario is in Galatians chapter 2 when Paul h...

Seasons Of Sovereignty: The Glasses That See God Move

http://shootforeternity.blogspot.com/2008/06/glasses-that-see-god-move.html

Thursday, June 12, 2008. The Glasses That See God Move. They are essentially eyes of faith. When you step out into something scary, sometimes alone, with the insanity of a person trying to walk on water, you need your faith glasses. I've had mine on and they have allowed me to see God move and bless on this journey from homeschool to the public school. This post is for the purpose of testimony about those and a small update at the end. Further Messages Changing My Life. The next two were just as profound:.

Seasons Of Sovereignty: December 2010

http://shootforeternity.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Tuesday, December 21, 2010. A Virtual Tower of Babel. There is something quaint about pen and paper, stamps and seals, talk and tea etc. I want it to slow down! Over the holiday one of the biggest items has been the Kindle. It occurred to me that someday people won't have beautiful books on their shelves to pull off, feel, smell and enjoy reading from! Can you imagine a world like that? Do you want a world like that? I like to read my bible from it's pages. I like to write down my thoughts on paper.

Thursday, October 9, 2008. Influence On Children Can Come From Anywhere God Allows. Well, God has a sense of humor so I guess I should too. Yesterday was the day. I thought "well, there you go, we made it nearly a month and a half before it came up. Doesn't gay mean happy? Why would she get in trouble for that? I make even bigger eyes at my husband and start back peddling when Princess says "yes, and I know what else it means.". Gulp is all I remember. We bring up another topic real quick. I've written twice about Pazole (perhaps on other blogs) but guess what! I'm going to do it again. For two reasons (1) I cannot tell you how much I love this soup but I'm trying again. Olive Garden Get's Mocked. So, a few years ago we went and had a soup that I just loved. It turns out it's called Zuppa Tuscana which means, guess what? Yep you guessed it, "Soup of Tuscany". A foodie's journey to a fit life. Just another WordPress.com site. July 21, 2013. Lentils are one of my favorite things to make. Not only are they packed with fiber and protein, they’re also low calorie and so versatile. I cook off a whole one pound bag and then keep them in the fridge and use them all week long. They’re perfect in soup, tossed in a salad, or eaten just on their own. Lentils are simple enough to prepare, all you need is…. 16 oz of lentils. 6-8 cups of water. 2 chicken bouillon cubes.

My favorites there changed over the years and the last few years it was their thin crust pesto chicken pizza. I LOVED that pizza. Doesn’t matter if I was full on appetizers and bread before my pizza came, the entire pizza had no chance of survival. Notice how the pizza is referred to in past tense?
