In a Nutshell
Wednesday, March 21, 2012. With a name like Gastroarte. You might not be surprised to find food presented fancifully. But this Upper West Side restaurant has substance to back it up — the cooking is artful as well. I was lured to Gastroarte by a Scoutmob discount. Next came a mixed plate of charcuterie —Serrano ham, salchicon and chorizo — on toasted bread with tomato, olive oil and garlic. Fairly standard. The writing in the powder was a bit hokey. Food In A Nutshell
Asparagus is said to have spread to the tables of Ancient Rome from Asia. Other sources say it has no known origin and that it was probably spread by birds, growing best where the earth froze. Asparagus has been popular in England since the middle of the eighteenth century, where it was known as sparrow-grass to street sellers. Asparagus comes in three colors: green, white and purple. It is high in protein and vitamins A and C. 1 Tbsp canola or peanut oil. 1 Tbsp grated onion. 1 Tbsp teriyaki sauce.

Foodinator – All about food!
April 4, 2015. Lunch box: Train Stations. At every train station there were a few vendors which sold these lunch box packs which looked almost like a bento box. I really recommend these to anyone who has a long train ride ahead of them like we did when we took the train from Tokyo to Osaka. The most remarkable one I had would have to be the pork cutlet with rice. The meat was well cooked and actually tasted surprisingly fresh. Vending machine cafeteria: Hiroshima. The dish that was the most special for m...
