fussy cut: April 2012
http://fussycutquilts.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 2, 2012. Quilt Fest 2012: 2 days of non-stop quilting! I had some reeeeeally nice. Dedicated sewing time". ( and I was so DTS). It was a fun retreat with the great gals from The Little Shop. I almost didn't make it this year due to my insane amount of kidney stones. I passed about 6 on my right side this past Oct/Nov. and then they kinda stopped. I got new X-rays in January and they found 4 new buddies all huddled together in my LEFT kidney. What a little bugger at 6mm!

fussy cut: June 2011
http://fussycutquilts.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 12, 2011. I haven't been sewing nearly was much I would like to, but only because I just recently got a new job! I have been looking for 6 months now, and i finally found something. The commute is very far, so it seriously cuts into my personal time. I'm sad that i don't have as much time to sew now, but I'll just have to organize myself better to squeeze more time in at night and on weekends. It's a very personal quilt and it reflects her and her husband's personalities mixed together.

Monday, January 9, 2012. I am excited for what the new year brings! I am hoping lotsa FABRIC and lotsa QUILTS! My personal new years resolution is to lose 50lbs. Eat less and move more! You know it's scary when i already kinda look like this lady- so now is the time to really make some changes! There is a tristate show. I just read about and the dead line is in 20 days. I'm not sure if I can make that one. I have a top that is kinda started. so if it makes it great! If not- i can save it for the next one.

Friday, January 3, 2014. Finally sewing with Chicopee. I had one more quilt finish in 2013. This might be my favorite of the year! Chicopee by Denyse Schmidt, black yarn dyed Essex, and the Arkansas Crossroad block work together so nicely don't they? I had the hardest time deciding on the right pattern, but I think I found it. Here are a couple pictures I took a couple weeks ago after quilting, I will try to get some finished ones soon! Hope you had a joyous Christmas and wonderful start to the New Year!

Monday, August 3, 2015. Great article. " Unless you are ghosting to escape an abusive relationship in which you are fearing for your safety, ghosting is an act of cowardice.". Thursday, August 8, 2013. Yeah, it's been a WHILE. Lost my quilting mojo for the last 12 months to an unforeseen DIVORCE. Life took a huge crap on me, but I've finally learned how to pull myself up and get on with it. I AM starting to get my creative mind back in gear. Here are a few photos from the last time i was able to sew-.

Friday, November 25, 2016. Michael Hampton at Nido's photo by Phiona Hamilton. I haven't posted here for so long. To be quite honest, I became frustrated with how hard it was to move things around on my posts. So I looked for greener grass and alas, the grass was brown! So I am back! And I want to talk about the renewed passion I have for spinning! I went to see my friend, Michael Hampton Speak at Nido's. I ordered a new wheel! It is an Ashford Joy and it looks like this. I will post a photo when mine ar...

Tales of the Meandering Stitcher. Monday, April 6, 2015. So I figure a year later its still there.its not going anywhere. I used all outdoor and home dec fabric from my fabric stash so this project didn't cost me any money! For the pillows instead of purchasing outdoor inserts I used very little filling and actually filled them mostly with shopping bags! I enjoyed my afternoon outside reading a book on this lovely 72 degree day! Raise Hell and Change the World! Anyways. My cross stitch is now finished...
