The Gift of Words - Our Mission
The Gift of Words, founded in 2010, is a non-profit foundation that aims to inspire a love of reading in young children. The goal of the foundation is to pair the excitement of birthdays with an excitement for books. We hope this will instill a love of reading in children as they grow to anticipate not only their next birthday, but the next "birthday book" they will receive. The Gift of Words works with the Post Road School in White Plains, NY.
