The DitMac Olympiad was created in the summer of 1996 by Greg McIntyre and Darin Ditmar (hence the name "DitMac"). This idea was conceived from the desire to keep in touch with old friends and to meet new friends. Then we added some food and games, and the rest is history! The Salsa Softball Club was originally formed in the Spring of 1999, and was designed to allow Pat and Greg (it is Pat's team) to see people on a regular basis, whom they do not regularly get to see. We adopted Oreo as a new born kitten, from a private party, in January of 1994. On Saturday, February 2, 2002, Oreo moved out! Actually, Casey (Pat's daughter) decided to finally take Oreo to her place . after all, Oreo was/is her cat. Then, as things changed (again) we got Oreo back! We got Cookie from my Mom, before she moved to Florida, in January of 1998, but we believe she was also born in 1994. We hope to add more pictures of Oreo and Cookie soon. Check back often! We rescued "Chili Dawg" from the Orange County Animal Shelter on October 13, 2000. Chili is a Miniature Pinscher and Chihuahua mix, and the shelter said that he was two years old . but our Vet believes he is closer to one. Back on September 25, 1999 we rescued "Pepper Rio" (her full name) from the same Orange County Animal Shelter. Pepper is an Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix, and the shelter said that she was about one year old (and our Vet agreed). Same Foot Injury (25k). Takin' A Nap (12k).

Monday, July 27, 2009. Greg's dad Lin went in for his 2nd PET scan since receiving chemo and radiation and he is officially cancer free! I cannot tell you how happy, elated, relieved, thankful, etc. that we all are! God is soooo good! I think we were all a little worried-his last scan had shown a small spot on his lung and I think that for months we have been holding our breath waiting to get a confirmation on what it could be. It was apparently a shadow and not anything cancerous. A Happy Family of 5!

Crafting the Sweetest Life. Sunday, October 16, 2016. Kitchen Remodel is DONE! This post has been a long time coming! I am so excited to share with you what we decided to do with our kitchen. Looking toward the laundry room. Really dislike the faux painted wall of yellow and brown. Had our box flourescent light closed up and 4 can lights took its place. All that white counter top and back splash. It really showed our house's age. Still more white counters. White porcelain sink with a ton of scratchs.
