Sunday, August 18, 2013. 23 Months Old and First Haircut! August 4, 2013 - Jack is 23 Months old! Only one more month of taking these monthly photos! Height: 35" (I think). Weigh: 30lbs (I think). All about 23 Month Old Jack: My almost 2 year old really is a little sponge learning and absorbing everything around him. Wednesday, September 18, 2013. 24 Months Old (aka 2 years old! September 4, 2013 - Jack Alexander is 2 years old! I have completed my 24th and final monthly photo session! Height: 37.5" (98%). Weight: 32 lbs (89%). Head Circumference: 19.49" (72%). All about 2 year old Jack. What does Jack say? Even though he is now two, when I ask him how old he is he says "almost two!

Monday, December 17, 2012. After four months of (almost) 24/7 helmet wearing, Jack is finally done! One mom even came up to me in a store and asked where she could get one for her son because he was always bumping his head! We had a lot of fun with our little "Texan" and his helmet, but now that he is finished wearing his helmet, maybe he will finally grow some hair? Here are a few before and after pictures. Monday, March 3, 2014. While we are busy preparing for Baby Deuce, we are still taking lots of time to have fun with Jack! Jack is learning a lot at school and I am really starting to notice it at home! He can sing his ABC's and count to about 14. It is so cute to listen to him! Our Wednesday playgroup. It is rare to get a photo of all of them looking at the camera. We all met at music class when our kids were only a few months old! Jack and his friend Julia. I think they like each other!

Thursday, August 7, 2014. Henry 2 Months Old! July 30, 2014 - Henry is 2 Months Old. Henry is sleeping longer segments now (5 to 7 hours at night). At 9 weeks he started sleeping in his crib (instead of Mommy's bed) and is doing great! He sleeps with a double swaddle on and an awesome white noise machine - because I can't let the hairdryer blow all night! He is still a great nurser but is spacing out his feedings more and is becoming quicker and more efficient when he eats. He does spit up a lot! At nigh...

Thursday, February 27, 2014. Baby Deuce Update - Still No Name - Please Vote! Almost 26 weeks with little Deuce. I am still feeling pretty good, just tired. Deuce and I both had our echo cardiograms last week (standard procedure because I was born with a congenital heart defect) and I'm happy to report we both have healthy tickers! Deuce will be using Jack's crib as well as Jack's glider, however I did purchase a new cover for it, so it looks like a totally new chair! Empty room, ready to be transformed.

Wednesday, May 22, 2013. 19 and 20 Months Old. May 4, 2013 - 20 Months Old. What is Jack doing: Like any typical toddler, Jack loves to run and play and get into everything! He is currently obsessed with trash. If he finds anything that might be trash he wants to take it to the trash can. We have to keep the trashcans in our house locked up otherwise he would play with them all day! He loves to dance and play instruments and he is starting to sing some of the songs! Fun and the Boggy Bayou Festival.

Thursday, January 23, 2014. A little recap of our holiday activities. Jack met Santa a total of 3 times this year, he was not impressed at any of those times. Our country club had a lovely breakfast with Santa event, and while he loved the breakfast, he was very upset when we stuck him on Santa's lap. We only left him there long enough for a photo! Most of the photos I post on this blog are photos taken with my camera.but there is a whole other world of funny and cute Jack photos that I snap with my phone, and sadly they tend to stay on my phone for months. I finally downloaded my iphone pics and here are a few of my favorites! Cute boy in a ball pit! One of my favs from last spring, hamming it up in music class. How do you really feel about eating prunes? He used to pinch me when I nursed him so I put socks on his hands.
