Saturday, June 22, 2013. We woke up this morning and loaded into the tap tap with Michael, the photographer. We visited the boys soccer program in Cite Soleil and met the U14 team that will be traveling to Blaine for the USA cup in July. We lost miserably in our scrimmage against them. The boys were crushing us with their foot skills, despite the gravel field. Posted by Kari Bristol. Friday, June 21, 2013. Friday June 21st: Elderly, Grace Village and Isaiah's. Friday, June 21. At the market in Titanyen.

Friday, June 21, 2013. Thursday June 20th: Apparent Project, Juno's and Soccer! Today we had an early morning and we got up to go to church at 6am. It was very interesting to see how the Haitian culture worships and expresses their love for God. Maddie, Brianna, Tori, Amanda and Hannah. Group picture at Juno's. Taite and Tori with FMSC food at Juno's Orphanage. Then we took some of the neighborhood boys to go play soccer at a big soccer field. The boys are very good but us girls still were able to pl...

Saturday, March 16, 2013. After the dissection, Amanda and Wesley taught the faith lesson and the team helped the younger kids to make candy-filled hearts. PSit was a little late. Friday, March 15, 2013. It's a Matter of Life and Death by Drew Allen. Ironic isn't it, that while we were trying to breath "life" into the sick and dying today by visiting with, offering healing massages, and the much needed human touch, death was looming there among us, waiting for it's next victim. We all left with Haitian h...

Healing Haiti-H4C: October 2011

http://healinghaiti-h4c.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Sunday, October 9, 2011. It’s not about me. Or is it…. What is God trying to teach me? What am I open to humbly learn…. It’s not about me. Or is it…. Traveling over roads that are nothing but piles of rubble, bouncing, lurching, assaulted by honking, chaos of people and cars and vendors, and no apparent rules of the road, yet arriving at a new destination with each trip. What is God trying to teach me? What am I open to humbly learn…. It’s not about me. Or is it…. What is God trying to teach me? Overwhel...

Saturday, August 8, 2015. Carrefour and General Hospital. Next the team visited Haiti’s History Museum in downtown Porte au Prince. Throughout the tour we gained knowledge on what made Haiti the country it is today; starting from the discovery of the land by Christopher Columbus to more recent events. Overall, the tour was extremely informative, and in result our team is able to make an even deeper connection to Haiti. Continue to act for God, and he will supply you with what you need. Day 3: Water truck!

Monday, February 10, 2014. God is Enough by Steve Duede. I wondered why any one in Haiti would even want to follow God? On the outside looking in, they don’t seem very blessed? The poverty level here is unbelievable. Then it occurred to me that maybe, because they have nothing, God is everything. He’s all they have and all they need. Yes, God is still good and worthy to be praised, regardless of our circumstances! I knew that but now I saw it firsthand. Another lesson learned in Haiti. Where do I start?

Friday, December 6, 2013. Day 5 By Emily and Kalley. So many times in uncertain situations, our first instinct is to think of ourselves. But when we take the time to reach out and offer a word of encouragement or meet a need of another, we see a world beyond ourselves. God uses these moments to stretch us and grow us, and what starts out as a crazy moment turns into a beautiful moment. Thursday, December 5, 2013. Day 4 by Heather Siverhus.
