I have noticed that my planing hull resistance prediction results change when I change chine length (LCH). My understanding was that LCH was a data check parameter only and did not affect drag. Is this correct? If it is, then why is my drag changing? Once you update your version to the latest (2009.6), you will see this new data entry behavior. Filed under: Program operation.
