http://sandy-bythelakeside.blogspot.com/2012/11/project-life.html
When i was in my twenties, i tried my hand at scrapbooking but it never really stuck with me. i tried again after camden was born but again, it just didn't last.i didn't like the finickiness of it all. the huge amount of supplies, stickers, papers, etc. i loved the look of others' layouts, but i just didn't like the work or time involved. And then i discovered this wonderful system on heather bailey's blog which immediately caught my eye. It's called project life. I spent a whole weekend recently tacklin...

Crunchy Meat: May 2008
http://crunchymeat.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 24, 2008. Making my house a home. It started with my dream of a french country kitchen. I said good-bye to the pinkish kitchen cabinets and builder fixtures. The cabinets are being painted white (Benjamin Moore's Cloud White, to be exact). We had a white subway tile backsplash put in, schoolhouse lighting hung up, and a new faucet installed. It feels fresher and happier already. This one is my favorite one. And I am knitting some dishcloths after seeing this. Next up, the garden! Under the ...

Crunchy Meat: July 2007
http://crunchymeat.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 22, 2007. Snakes and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails. Growing up in a house of mostly girls, I was pretty girlie. I loved makeup, Barbies, clothing and jewelry. I imagined myself one day having daughters that would share these interests with me. I thought they would cook with me, share beauty secrets and spend time chatting with me over manicures. Fast forward to now, and I'm happily surrounded by boys! Yes, they were the Pillsbury variety, and they were delicious! Later on in the day, and countl...

The adventures of a Hungarian in the world of food. Sunday, July 29, 2007. I hadn't baked anything for weeks so I thought it was high time I took out my books to browse. I knew I wouldn't have too much time on Saturday morning and also, our friends invited over to their house in the afternoon, so that meant another batch of cakes to take over. If time is of essence, the easiest to make are muffins or cupcakes. I chose the cappuccino cupcakes from. How to be a Domestic Goddess. 1 tsp vanilla extract.

My kitchen diary: April 2007
http://maraskitchendiary.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
The adventures of a Hungarian in the world of food. Sunday, April 29, 2007. I'm not very good at using up leftovers. The reason might be that I can't really think ahead. Furthermore, I don't have a proper pantry and my freezer's not too big so my stocks of food are very limited. And I usually don't like to eat the same thing for days on end - another reason why a man comes handy at one's house LOL He doesn't mind doing that ;). A packet of puff pastry. Seeds of your choice. One thing I didn't like though...

The adventures of a Hungarian in the world of food. Sunday, November 11, 2007. With the Brownie Queen's recommendation. But this weekend I wanted chocolate cake, an intense and moist chocolate cake but was not willing to sacrifice my principles. Julie. Came to the rescue with this recipe. Was) for a smallish tray of brownies. I left out the cheese swirls as I wanted pure chocolate and baked the brownies only for 40 minutes which resulted in the best texture and exactly the one I was looking for! Subscrib...

Laquo; le 14 juillet. Sardine Pate Recipe ». Liqueur de noix: Green Walnut Liqueur. And speaking of amazing deals, when I spotted a few walnuts trees loaded with green walnuts behind their house—and the huge pool…and the immaculate vegetable garden…and the fabulously-equipped kitchen, they told me to take some, as they won’t be there in the fall, when they’re ready to harvest. They’ll be gone? Party in the Lot, everyone! So I picked a big bag and hauled them back to Paris with me to make. So if you’...
