Thursday, February 6, 2014. It's been a while. As for a quick update on life: Jason will be done with school in 5 months and then we're off to Oregon. I can hardly believe we're that close to being done with school forever! The kids are growing fast and amaze me every day with something new and fun. Monday, September 26, 2011. Jason had an interview in KC which we all took as a family. The next week he got accepted into the school he interviewed at and we went back again. The other day Joe says out of the blue, "Mom, when is Grandpa Ed going to come back to life? I really miss him! So sweet. I love that my boys got to know their Grandpa Ed while we lived with them. Zach had to work Spring Break, but since Joe and Will were both home from school the whole week I decided we should at least do some things a little out of the ordinary. Friday, March 7, 2014. Burke had his 1st birthday last week and it was a lot of fun! I made him a baseball cap cake. Using the blue frosting may not have been my smartest plan- we had blue frosting all over the place by the time he was done digging into his cake! It was fun to watch him attempt to open presents before the older kids jumped in to "help" :) and it was awesome to watch him get all messy with his cake. Love that tradition! So here are some pics:.
