What I think is neat about keeping a blog or writing in a journal is that you can take a snapshot (via pictures and words) of your life just as it is right now. Monday, April 21, 2014. So much has happened, and so much time has passed that I can't possibly record all of the things I want to record. Leaving San Antonio was one of the hardest goodbyes I've ever had to do. It was such a wonderful time for our family, but I think especially for me. I I had so many wonderful women that were my examples and friends and I relied on them so much as I became a mother and it was so hard to say goodbye. We are starting the process of buying a home! Who would win in a fight?

Sunday, November 3, 2013. Emily is 4 months old. It goes so fast. 4 things we love about Emily:. 1 She will wrap her arms around our neck when we pick her up and it feels like she's hugging us. It is absolutely the best. 3 It's hard to tell whether she's a Mama's girl or a Daddy's girl yet. But whenever Jeff is in the room she never takes her eyes off of him. 4 Okay, I'll admit it. I love her rolls. I know we always comment on her chubbiness, but I just can't get over it. She is so cute.

Sunday, April 5, 2015. My parents gave us their old freezer and the box of the new one they got. The girls made a time machine out of it. These are our good friends, Matt, Noya, and Lawrence Deats. Emily's first experience of snow! Our good friend, Scott Beddard (AKA Scott Wonder) is an amazing magician! Business in the front. Party in the back! I love your updates! I felt like January, February and March were all terrible! It was the Boston winter.so long! Hopefully Spring has happened for you guys!

Tuesday, March 19, 2013. So today, Austin had his hydroceles 'sealed' up. Here we are the night before taking pictures.just in case the anesthesia was too much for him :(. Wednesday, January 14, 2015. My favorite part of Christmas morning is being together as a family. The boys were SO happy to be thought of by so many of their family and friends! They were also excited about giving gifts to each other. I felt like we had a very meaningful Christmas, but this post is mostly about their presents. They are just so excited in these pictures! Christmas morning, the boys came down the stairs to see their presents. We were so lucky that they slept in! I just love these guys!

We arrived at 7:00 am and found out they were expecting us two days before, and not today, so we had to wait until 12:00 for a room. Christian and I wandered around campus, had breakfast, read scriptures and just chilled. Then we got our room. Two hours later they started me on Pitocin! And of course, lots of card games! This year, since all of the friends he wanted to invite either lived in Texas or Montana, we had a neighborhood party. It was a blast! Tyson really wanted a pinata so that our neighbors in Texas could "come and knock the candy out! Instead, we made our own and had our new friends here come. It really was so much fun!
