Monday, April 5, 2010. We had egg hunts (I was disappointed when Avi didn't want to gather any eggs the Easter bunny left), yummy food, and fun time with family! I made German pancakes (not like my mom's crepe ones, but the kind you bake) in the morning with homemade syrup - I think this will be a new tradition. Then while we listened to conference we decorated our boiled eggs - Avi's idea for this activity was to throw the eggs into the dye and to sip the dye from the egg dipper. Adriane and Tory Gatrell.

Wednesday, May 18, 2011. I just wanted to announce that our little family is moving to Akron, OH! Porter has been accepted to the Marriage Family Therapy masters program at the University of Akron! Saturday, October 8, 2011. Here are a few of my favorite changes right now. Autumn is amazing out here! I cut about 5" off. The kissy face was all her idea! And Hugo is already getting teeth! Hard to see, but 2 front bottom teeth coming through! Avis haircut is so cute! And I cant believe Hugo is old enough to start getting teeth. Friday, April 29, 2011. Hugo Porter Macey - Newest addition! Hugo Porter Macey was born last Friday, Apr. 22nd and he is sooooo great! I can't stop kissing his sweet little face! He was 7 lb 4ou and 19 in long. Avilyn loves him and really has not shown much jealousy.yet. She's very concerned when he cries and she laughs when he makes "sounds" .as she calls it. I've had lots of help around the house so I don't really know how hard 2 kids will be, real life just hasn't hit yet! Here are some pictures!

Monday, June 10, 2013. My trip to Jordan. My favorite part of my trip was spending time with my sisters! But here are some other highlights from my trip! I tried making the pictures so it would post 3 in a row, but it was causing all sorts of problems, hence the format of the pics. It's divided by the Jordan River. I'm standing in Jordan taking the pic :). Mosaic depicting Book of Mormon Tree of Life,. Done by a Muslim artist. Something about this CocaCola sign I loved. Camels just chillin off the road.

August 3, 2015. We just got back from a fun weekend in Bear Lake with Joe's family. It isn't Summer in Utah unless you make a trip to beautiful Bear Lake. I was happy that we found the time to go. Friday morning while driving to the beach we saw a moose down in the water about a half mile from where we spent the day. It was pretty cool. Max was so good at the beach, he had the best time playing in the sand. Max thought riding in that little basket was perfect! Until next time Bear Lake! August 2, 2015.

Sunday, September 29, 2013. Thailand travels part 4: bangkok and beijing. Are you sick of these posts yet? We spent another day and a half in bangkok on the back end of the trip. We stayed with sister seangsuwan again, and she took us to eat at some local restaurants where i had no idea what i was ordering but it was some of the best food of the trip. i had to be brave, but the little shacks ended up being the best food - and the cheapest. We were there for 3-4 hours and didn't even see the whole thing.

Saturday, November 5, 2011. Karan and I made our first visit to the city of New Orleans. It was Halloween night and we went to the French Quarters. It is as wild and amazing as we thought. Lots of people in costumes, music and a real party atmosphere.
