Karen Dorsey was born on Ground Hog Day in Wisconsin on an alpaca farm (You would have thought it would have been a dairy farm wouldn’t you? Anyway, it was just outside Milwaukee in the shadows of Lambeau field. (There is a little poetic distance license there…the shadow was really long at that time of the year! August 3, 2015. We just got back from a fun weekend in Bear Lake with Joe's family. It isn't Summer in Utah unless you make a trip to beautiful Bear Lake. I was happy that we found the time to go. Friday morning while driving to the beach we saw a moose down in the water about a half mile from where we spent the day. It was pretty cool. Max was so good at the beach, he had the best time playing in the sand. Max thought riding in that little basket was perfect! Until next time Bear Lake! August 2, 2015.

Sunday, September 29, 2013. Thailand travels part 4: bangkok and beijing. Are you sick of these posts yet? We spent another day and a half in bangkok on the back end of the trip. We stayed with sister seangsuwan again, and she took us to eat at some local restaurants where i had no idea what i was ordering but it was some of the best food of the trip. i had to be brave, but the little shacks ended up being the best food - and the cheapest. We were there for 3-4 hours and didn't even see the whole thing.

Saturday, November 5, 2011. Karan and I made our first visit to the city of New Orleans. It was Halloween night and we went to the French Quarters. It is as wild and amazing as we thought. Lots of people in costumes, music and a real party atmosphere. It was a great success and I can't wait to have more! We've got more cleaning up in the back half of the bottom floor that we should be finished with soon and then we can start on the top floor, again. Our goal is to remodel the small bathroom that is already upstairs, so that we can go ahead and move in! So in about 6 months, we should be living Downtown!
