My First Flat | Ride Across Britain 2010

https://jogle2010.wordpress.com/2010/04/03/my-first-flat

Ride Across Britain 2010. 1,008 Miles, 9 Days…. Posted by: Jason Norris. April 3, 2010. 70 days to go…. I’ve been pretty lucky so far, in that while out training, despite the potholes I’ve managed to keep my tyres intact. Until today. It was only supposed to be a sprint run today, a quick 20 miles, but eight miles in I hit a hole in the road. Thought nothing of it at the time, let’s face it, there are quite a few around at the minute and I’ve been through a few! Deflated. but not out.

Getting back on the bike | Ride Across Britain 2010

https://jogle2010.wordpress.com/2010/03/18/getting-back-on-the-bike

Ride Across Britain 2010. 1,008 Miles, 9 Days…. Posted by: Jason Norris. March 18, 2010. Getting back on the bike. Good news, no broken foot. Which is a relief to say the least. Just some bruising on the bone, so the solution was rest and relaxation. Not that four weeks in plaster would not have been fun, but in terms of training, I don’t think it would have helped too much. So some good news, and thankfully not too much of a set-back – roll on the weekend, and some sunshine to get back on the bike!

Ride Across Britain 2010. 1,008 Miles, 9 Days…. Posted by: Jason Norris. March 23, 2010. Its not often that I have had the chance to say that I have made a real difference on anything, let alone being able to say that something I am doing might help someone achieve a gold medal. But through RAB, that is exactly what might happen. And you can help. Recently, Phil Lane, who is the Chief Executive of ParalympicsGB. They will shine… as will the gold medals they bring home. "End to End" 2008

End to End" 2008. A look back on the Toby Mitchell / Craig Hudson John O'Groats to Lands End bike ride of September 2008. -An unsupported ride in aid of the CLIC Sargent children's cancer charity and the National Autistic Society. Since Craig and I first went public with our intention to do this, people have asked about our thinking, our motivation- especially so when they discover it was my idea, and not one dreamt up by the marathon running, serial fund-raiser I so carefully selected as my wingman.

Riding from John O'Groats to Lands End for Go Commando. Our JOGLE – The Aftermath. June 5, 2012. It is now 11 days since we finished, so time to look back and sum up what we achieved, what we could have done better, what worked, what didn’t (for us). I think there are 3 main ways of doing the JOGLE/LEJOG:. Probably not one I’d ever have the inclination to do! Unless someone asked me!
