Sunday, April 25, 2010. Happy, Happy, Happy. She said "cheese" for this picture. She is such a happy kid. Well maybe not all the time. Catherine didn't get her afternoon nap today. She instead played in her crib for over an hour. This is the result of not napping, other than the tantrums for no reason. Needless to say she went to bed early. Falling asleep with a handful of shrimp going into her mouth. Mommy and Daddy laughing so hard it woke her up and she was trying to smile too. Monday, April 5, 2010.

Monday, November 30, 2009. Loves music, loves to dance. I think this was the beginning of the ear infection. Cleaning out the pantry for mom. Even though she was sick she still showed comfort to her toys. She was so pitiful. At moments she would pick up the energy level. Going for a ride. Playing with Brady. Catherine can say woof or so we think. Now there's a smile. All tuckered out from thanksgiving and the grandparents. Don't you wish you were at our house this year? Thursday, November 12, 2009.

Friday, January 28, 2011. Moving across the country! We found out last week that Jonathan's next duty station will be Ft. Wainwright in Fairbanks, Alaska. We will be reporting there in July and will be there for 3 years. Thank goodness it will be during the summer months when it can get to 90 degrees. As you can see it is really cold otherwise. The biggest adjustment is going to be living so far from family and friends. So come visit! Chris, Mary Beth and Natalee. February 3, 2011 at 12:49 PM.

Sunday, 10 January 2010. Well we finally did it! Yesterday was our wedding day and what a day it was. The weather was absolutely perfect (35 degrees celcius) though we were a bit sweaty during the ceremony (from 1700 hrs)! Elaine looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful dress as did the bridesmaids, in dresses made by Elaine and her mom. Jon and his best men Bas and Ade were dressed in formal tails and looked super handsome, if a little hot! Update - 2nd February 2010. Saturday, 26 December 2009.

Sunday, 10 May 2009. At about 8:30 pm or so, but that soon wore off. Feeling very tired, I asked for an epidural at about 10:00 pm. Well, it was wonderful! I honestly don't know why everyone doesn't have them! Here, you hardly get any maternity pay from your company (two weeks, and that’s it! But the State of California pays out half your pay for about 12 weeks. After that, it was off home. Today is Mothers’ Day. I received a card and a couple of lovely presents – Baileys (hurrah!
