June 23, 2012. One of my favorite presents. This past Christmas my husband's family decided to do a Not So Secret Santa Exchange. My sister got me. I think I'm pretty darn easy to buy for (I'm sure the Hubster would disagree). She asked me for an idea and I told her I would love. An ice cream machine. I almost bought one several months earlier but the Hubster scoffed at me, thinking I'd never use it. One I love it. I just keep the freezer bowl in our freezer so it is ready to go whenever I decide we need.

January 24, 2012. Heh Didn't mean to be gone so long. I'll try to post something interesting tomorrow. In the meantime I'll leave you with this. We had a fabulous Christmas with my family. And my extended family. It was all kinds of awesomeness. Growing up we'd spend every Christmas with my Aunt/Uncle/Cousins. But then we moved. And it was just too far. So it was a huge surprise that they were able to come celebrate with us. It had only been. ten years. We had the best weather ever. A Journey of Sorts.

October 20, 2012. I have very fond memories of my birthdays growing up. My parents always did their best to make me feel special. My mom created some really awesome cakes. That is not the first time C has interacted with another kid like him I'm sure. But, it was the first time I had seen it happen.and it was pretty much one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my life. Wanna know what he's most ticked off about that needs to stop now? His mom (me) needs to stop being so dang nice to him all the time. I brought his dinner plate to him tonight so he didn't spill and got the good ole "HOW DARE YOU! Sheesh when will I ever learn right? What he doesn't know is all these people who are nice to him and treat him special?
