Monday, January 11, 2010. This summer I worked with a group of young rappers to film them performing the song that they wrote for the annual bridge-diving festival in Mostar. Katie in Mostar: December 2009
http://katieinmostar.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Mostar will have a mayor! Mostar will have a mayor! The following is the statement by Valentin Inzko, head of OHR in BiH, made yesterday. I am also taking a decision on Mostar today. As you are aware, we have not had an elected Mayor for 14 months, nor a budget for 2009. This has dramatic consequences on the citizens of Mostar and it is scandalous and shocking that political leaders, which they have elected to address these issues, have shown no serious willingness to do so.

Experiences in India
Tuesday, December 27, 2011. Thursday, December 22. After one day of teaching at GRACE, I fell back in the my standard routine of going to Assisi in the morning and SEAM in the evening. Our task at Assisi was to decorate for Christmas. We created an assembly line of sorts for the children to paint a Christmas tree, holly, flowers and bulbs. The kids stayed focused on this task for well over an hour. We even had Sister Rose and Sister Matilda helping out too. Monday, December 26, 2011. The founder of the h...
2015: The Year of Katie
2015: The Year of Katie. It’s amazing how fast time can move, especially when you aren’t drowning in your own anxieties. I’m halfway through 2015 and so far, it has been a much better year. I don’t know exactly why, but life just seems a little lighter than it did this time last year. So I thought I’d do a checklist of what I’ve accomplished and then a 2015.5 resolution list, to keep myself motivated. From January to July I’ve:. Lost 32 pounds :). Knit myself a sweater. Applying for graduate school.

It was such encouragement just to know that someone was reading! For now, I'm back in Indiana and "Katie in Indianapolis" does not have quite the same ring to it, so I'm moving back to a blog. And just about this journey, as I grow in my faith and learn more about following Christ and living for Him. My most recent post is ti...
