Some thoughts, pictures, and anecdotes from my travels and work as an English Teacher in Nepal. Sunday, August 14, 2011. Hi again y'all. This weekend we finally finished our month long training period. Tomorrow I’m headed to Bhaisepati, my new town, home, and school, this time for the long haul. This again is with mixed emotions; I am sad to be leaving one home, yet excited for the next and all that lies ahead. I think that’s all I have for y’all today! Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Tang in a Goddess’ House. So I never managed to kill to giant spider. We’ve been playing a reoccurring game of cat and mouse. He reappears from under or behind some piece of furniture, I try to get him, he runs away again. I did notice tonight that he only has seven legs now, so perhaps a small victory? Well, here’s an update after almost. Better than the three weeks last time. Maybe by my next post I’ll. Get it down to one week. It’s been quite busy as I’ve been getting adjusting to. Life in the country and at my school. Proctoring exams was boring yet difficult. Because I was mostly just sitting and shushing kids for three hours at a time. But it was also tough to figure out what responses were appropriate to certain. Situations, such as the sharing of answers (which would be considered cheating.

Friday, March 23, 2018. Since I've finished my "assignments" for the month, I don't have anything specific to report, but I have been sewing! First, on Monday I finally got it together and mailed off the two quilts I made plus a few my mom made for the Share the Love. Quilt donations for A Doll Like Me. Welcome to my work-in-progress website! My intention is to have a smattering of all the kinds of projects I work on. I have been living the competition-series life, specifically food shows like Top Chef and Sugar Rush. But I generally try and do one scripted project a year, and am trying to transition back over to scripted comedy TV. I work in Avid and Premier, and will poke my way through Final Cut X when needed. I’m also super decent in After Effects and Photoshop. I’m in the Union!
