A journey from infertility to preemie parenthood times two! Monday, May 30, 2011. And that is really the point of this post, that my kids are SO tough. I mean, there are open sores on their butts and they are smiling and playing like nothing happened. Only when I change them are they truly upset about it. Poor Trig has been walking funny for a few days now but he just keeps on playing! They had a good time splashing in the pool and then Trig ran around the yard while Grayson crawled around the playpen.

My parents gave us a cruise as our gift last Christmas and we chose October over my birthday! We just got back and it was an absolute blast - thanks Mom and Dad! Wednesday, June 2, 2010. First week at home. Ok here are some pictures I got during Athena's first week at home:. She fell asleep in my cousin's hands as I was holding her. This was her second night. She was absolutely exhausted after visiting so many people. At this party alone there were between 15 and 20 people! She is definitely getting socialized to lots of people. Sunday, October 4, 2015. Slowly Turning to Autumn. Sunday, August 30, 2015. We've finally had a little time to settle in, both doing some unpacking and enjoying the balcony and views. The wildfire smoke has made the mountains less visible lately but we've got plenty to look at. Austin has the webcam on the construction that is going on in front of us and we keep talking about the possibility of an Amtrak trip sometime. The train is about two blocks away and you can see it in the photo. And a sushi train!
