It is hard to concentrate at times on little sleep and writing seems to be one of many things I'd like to do with my little free time of the day. I'm not sure how I manage to ever sit down sometimes. Tuesday, September 21, 2004. I wanted to let you know that our cat Gus (the black one) got out of the house last Sunday about a week and a half ago now. Tuesday, April 05, 2005. Today is Claire's 14 month birthday! She has been changing so fast, especially in the language department. I still speak French to her so she's developed quite a little French vocabulary.train, bain, pain, banane, pomme, froid, chat, ballon.just to name a few. Of course, her comprehension is unbelievable. Monday, September 17, 2007. Again it has been a long time since my last post. I am tired and I caught the little cold my kids picked up from somewhere. Unfortunately, it seemed like just as soon as we'd adjusted to having three kids, I started the miscarriage process. Yes, it was and still is a process. Tuesday, April 17, 2007. Today Elliot is 16 months old! He is a talker, a charmer and loves to be picked up by anyone he thinks looks nice. He's almost running sometimes too which is fun to watch. He loves playing "ring around the rosie." with Claire and me. It is fun to see how excited he gets to play with Claire. Saturday, December 29, 2007. Elliot who is just recently 2 loved it too! By the end of the day and after opening presents three times, it did get a bit exhausting for us all. Today is our sixth anniversary and our kids are asleep in bed sick with colds and we're about to have hamburgers and French sparkling wine to celebrate! Thursday, September 30, 2004. Same-sex marriage and argumentation. I think I might not disagree about the apples and oranges point mentioned in the comments to this post. But my argument here isn't (and is never stated as such) that since marriage has been unjust in the past we should support same-sex marriage. My point is that arguing against same-sex marriage from the basis of tradition is sloppy, and to an extent, intellectually dishonest.
