The remains of a shed packed with buoys along the coast of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Both the buoys and shed are still there. The strong wind uses black grains of sand to make ingenious patterns on the lava beach near Vík. The wind has calmed down and leaves a smoother pattern in the lava sand. The Reynisdrangar basalt rocks: still standing, unbothered by any earthquake.

Who knew such simple ingredients could yield pure love 🙂. Here’s the recipe for love:. 4 large potatoes, peeled and grated. Preheat the oven to 400 F (200 C). Start by removing the tops and the seeds of the peppers. Salt them on the inside. Finely chop the onions and sauté them until soft and translucent.
