Friday, November 04, 2005. This meal reminds me of Abu Dhabi where shawarma is very popular sandwich. It’s also becoming popular in SM nowadays where you can see people lining up for shawarma. Since hubby and I both have Middle Eastern influence in food, we often have shawarma at home, once in a while. Beef steak (sliced thinly). To make flat bread:. 1 cup flour (sifted).
