Roose Report: July 2009
http://roosereport.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
A little bit about our family. Saturday, July 4, 2009. Motel Time - June 13, 2009. We headed up to Michigan on June 12 for Joel and Sarah's wedding. While we were up there we stayed at a Super 8 in Hudsonville, headed to the Great Harvest Bread Company and walked out with five bags of bread. We did have a few strange glances cast our way, but we didn't care. :). When we got back to the hotel we took a few pictures. Jesse relaxing on his air mattress bed and browsing the internet. Welkom to our blog!

40 and loving life: Cruise 2010
http://40andlovinglife.blogspot.com/2010/02/cruise-2010.html
40 and loving life. Tuesday, February 2, 2010. We just got back from an awesome cruise to Key West, Grand Cayman and Jamaica with the kids and their friends Derrick and Ashley. After a day at sea full of eating, playing cards and watching shows we docked at Grand Cayman. I LOVE Cayman! We had a great time and it helped make this never ending winter feel just a little bit shorter. :-). Lido deck on our ship the Freedom, we got to watch the playoff games on that big screen which was pretty cool.

http://roosereport.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
A little bit about our family. Sunday, January 10, 2010. The past eleven years we have trecked out to Vander Streek Acres and tromped through the tree fields looking for the perfect Christmas Tree. Christmas 2009 was no different. Our Mission: Find the perfect Christmas tree. Armed with only a saw and w0rk gloves, we set off. We found suspects from the smallest. However, none fit the description we were looking for. Tim took a break to oversee the others and wait to hear news of a possible tree. Actually...

Monday, July 29, 2013. As part of motivation for reading for the boys, they earned their way for a trip to the Living History Farms! We have been reading "Little House" books this past winter so I thought it would be fun to actually see what it was like in the olden days! The kids really enjoyed reading the information displays along the paths and seeing first hand how people lived back then! This year we headed back to the Ozarks again with our family! The boys tried something new this year! The best pa...

Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Last week Friday, we went to Reiman Gardens with some friends of ours from school. The kids had a BLAST! Mitchell is obsessed with Lego's so this was right up his alley! What perfect weather for a fun outing! A few weeks ago, we celebrated my grandpa DV's 85th Birthday! We had almost all the grandkids there and of course the great grandkids. We enjoyed smoked meat for dinner and lots of sides! Tuesday, June 19, 2012. We hope all the dad's out there had a great Father's Day!

Tuesday, August 20, 2013. This year we decided to go back to the Ozarks one last time, this time with my side of the family. We had decent weather, it rained a lot in the mornings, and then was nice the rest of the day. Some days were warmer than others. The kids had a blast together and enjoyed riding the tube, and the boys did some water skiing too! A big Thanks to Denny and Karen for letting us use their condo! Hope you enjoy the pictures of our fun week at the Lake of the Ozarks! Welcome to our blog!

Saturday, January 11, 2014. Christmas with the Van Zee's. We had a fun time celebrating Christams with Elden's side! We also have the tradition of staying overnight together as well! The boys got way to many presents like usual but got some meaningful ones! Mitchell got his first Bible from Nancy and Connor got some new books from Angie. Connie made each of them a blanket with their favorite sports teams! How nice that was of her! Of course I couldn't get that picture to download for some reason! The kid...
