Who doesn’t love a pinwheel? | A Knititng Diary
https://knitlish.wordpress.com/2009/05/18/who-doesnt-love-a-pinwheel
Follow me on my knitting expeditions! Who doesn’t love a pinwheel? May 18, 2009. 8212; ndscribbler @ 2:14 pm. Yesterday I cast on for a pinwheel blanket (found here. With a few exceptions of course. Somewhere along the way I lost a st and when I thought I corrected it properly, it actually threw off the first few repeats of the pinwheel holes….but the rest of the blanket is fine. It’s just weird but hopefully nobody will notice but me. And of course anyone who reads this blog! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Follow me on my knitting expeditions! Dabble dabble May 14, 2009. 8212; ndscribbler @ 7:57 pm. 1 How to incorporate a pattern within the realm of making a triangle. 2 Making a triangle🙂. 3 Waiting ’til you get at least a few inches into it before deciding that you really hate it instead of doing 2 rows and hating it right off the bat. 4 Pick a lace stitch that isn’t a chain but that can fan out. Why I Knit | A Knititng Diary
https://knitlish.wordpress.com/why-i-knit
Follow me on my knitting expeditions! June 2, 2008. Right Like I said, bad choice. I settled on a pattern I found online at Lion Brand Yarn and began with gusto. From there I taught myself how to purl, do cable stitches, seam sides, and be patient with myself. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. May 28, 2009. 8212; ndscribbler @ 8:54 pm. Originally I guesstimated that this would take me about a week to knit, but to my surprise it took me 4 days! So there are quite a few differences between what the pattern called for and what I actually did.

Designer of Candy Bagel / Tweet @CandyBagel / Insta @CandyandBagel. I started officially designing knitwear since Fall 2011 when my pattern “Tweedy” was published by Petite Purls. In order to learn more about construction and garment making techniques, I enrolled myself to a design school in Summer 2012. My designs have been published by both self publication label “Jean Chung Designs” as well as magazines such as Twist Collective, Interweave Knitscene, Knitty, and Petite Purls. Finishing a old project. I found a project that I started several years ago but never finished. Somehow it never came to an end. I just couldn't do it. Now however, I feel the urge to finish it. Linking you to my newest adventures in knitting . . . Wednesday, July 09, 2008. I just got back from a 2 1/2 week trip to Pennsylvania and Maine to visit relatives. Overall we logged in 3100 miles of driving. I'm definitely glad to be back home. A Broken Gear Ring. Although many have suggested that this machine is beyond hope, I am hoping with a couple new parts that it might be usable. It would be nice to have that connection to the past. Any wisdom would be appreciated! Monday, April 07, 2008. Now with...

Knit, style and je ne sais quoi since 2004. Why don't you.wear a horn? I blame diana vreeland. That fingernail moon of ivory looped through the tail of a flat, glittering gold chain is so impossibly chic. for the past couple of years, i've been wearing a little gold horn i bought for my husband back in the 80s. my italian-american mother-in-law gets a big kick out of it every time she sees it. do you know what that is,. She asks me. it's to protect you against the mah-loy-kya! Posted by knitlit kate.

100 Things About Me. Just popping in to share a few things:. 1 The Bakery Story app on my iPod is my new obsession. I can’t stop playing it! It has gotten so bad that I go to sleep worrying if I’ve made enough food to keep my shop going while I sleep. I even worry I won’t wake up in time to take my baked goods out of the oven. Sad but true. 2 I buy way too many clothes that need to be ironed. Note to self, buy more knits. 7 We’ve gotten a bunch of new things in at the shop. I also like vacuuming, but hat...

Monday, January 11, 2010. Oooh, Mr. Darcy! UmI plead winter-break-brain.). Which had some really neat patterns, my favorite being the Spot Check Sock:. It looks really neat, and it's not like it's hard to see how to do it. The title of this post, let's talk about that. If you read this blog, you might be aware that I am a big Jane Austen fan. I love her novels (have not read her unfinished works or juvenalia), with Sense and Sensibility. Or Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. Terribly alluring, altho...
