Monday, March 30, 2015. If you read our previous post from March 19th, you know we have been competing in a March Blogger Match-up. Sixty-four different bloggers were paired with teams from the March Madness Tournament. We were matched with Louisville and we had a pretty good run in the tournament. We are so sad we lost yesterday and didn't make it to the Final Four because there are some awesome prizes available. Dang! We only needed one more win and we would have made it. Thursday, July 23, 2015. School starts in less than two weeks for most of my teaching friends. I am excited for them but it's time for me to come out and share with the world that about a month ago I decided to step out of the classroom and resign from teaching. Although this was not an easy decision it was very necessary. Perhaps someday I will share my experience. I'm also trying to sew some products for teachers and students to use in the classroom. Thanks for your interest in jen hart Design,. Teache...

What is Your Theme? | mattBgomez

What is Your Theme? What is Your Theme? Thanks to Patty for the above image, from her pinterest page. I have been guilty of this in the past but this year I am rethinking things. I know it is probably not possible to start with a blank slate room (although that thought does interest me). What I am asking is when we pour our heart, energy and time into setting up EVERY aspect of a room before we even meet the kids who are we really setting up the room for? 8211; Play, play and more play. Learning with Mrs. G
Learning with Mrs. G. Thursday, October 11, 2012. Tonight we gathered some materials in order to see if we could trap carbon dioxide in a balloon. We started with empty coke bottles. We added warm water, 2 tsp active yeast, and 2tsp sugar. We capped the bottles and shook the mix well. Next we opened the cap and put on a balloon. Ours were pretty tight so we didn't need to tie them on with rubber bands. Thursday, October 4, 2012. The kids loved this one! I let them unwrap and feel their soap and then we p...

Learning with Mrs.Langley. I promised I would use the number stamping book I made this week and I did! Here it is just so you know what I'm talking about! The book was pretty simple to put together and I mixed up the pages on purpose so it wouldn't be in order. I just copied them back to back and folder/stapled them. Our copy machine will actually do that for you.but I still haven't figured that out! Some of them were really organized and careful and some of them were a hot mess! So much drama :). I hope...
