Little House In The Big Suburb. Thursday, June 26, 2008. Help Me Identify this guy, Please! Here are a few photo's taken this afternoon of a moth that was caught early this morning in the back yard/garden area. He/she is quite large and I am left to wonder if he is a menace to the garden or if he/she is a helpful creature. I look forward to hearing who you think this is! With my hand for a size comparison. Here is his face. If it's still alive then LET it go! June 26, 2008 at 1:03 PM. I agree with Pete: ...

Little House In The Big Suburb. Saturday, May 31, 2008. The Indoor Strawberry Pyramid. Fresh from the side yard garden, from our pyramids. The Berry on top is the from the first crop of strawberries harvested from the newest pyramid. The plants in the newest pyramid came to us thru Freecycle last year. That berry on top is a beauty! I can hardly wait for all the runners from these plants to shoot out! It is so wonderful to step outside and pick a ripe berry, the flavor is marvelous. Monday, May 26, 2008.

http://littlehouseinthebigsuburb.blogspot.com/2008/05/sfgs-2nd-story-addition-and-my-helper.html

Little House In The Big Suburb. Monday, May 26, 2008. SFG's, 2nd Story Addition, and My Helper. Well, it's the last day of our long weekend off, working together on the garden. We have accomplished a lot! Things are really shaping up! Before heading to the hard work of building and digging and moving garden things this morning, I surveyed what we had done and watered and plucked at a few things. I discovered several beautiful strawberries on the pyramids! I will try to not go on and on about them but, co...

Every thing from Camping,Camper Repair,Flower,Fishing and Gardening. Sunday, May 9, 2010. Propane Tank and Spare Tire Cover. When we replaced the old 85' Canvas on the pup. The Evolution material was totally shot. But all the canvas was in excellent shape. But since most of the thing was the Evolution material. We just purchased a totally new All Canvas. I decided to keep the good parts as I figured there would be some thing I could use it for. And yep, I did. And, I design and cut my own Vinyl Designs, ...

Camping and Gardening: Got Travel Trailer Back From Shop! Next Trips Booked!

http://campingandgardening.blogspot.com/2014/08/got-travel-trailer-back-from-shop-next.html

Every thing from Camping,Camper Repair,Flower,Fishing and Gardening. Wednesday, August 13, 2014. Got Travel Trailer Back From Shop! We went and picked up the Travel Trailer. Man, we have missed seeing it in the driveway when we pull up. So they called Forest River and made a suggestion to drill bigger holes that would allow it to accept a heavier shear pin. They did that and tested it and it all seems to be working good. We will give it a try on our next Camping trip coming up in 3 weeks. Garden of Irony...

Every thing from Camping,Camper Repair,Flower,Fishing and Gardening. Monday, March 10, 2014. Travel Trailer Storage Mod Part 1. With our new travel trailer being on the small side. It has very little storage. Here is a picture of the kitchen area. So I started with the Kitchen cabinet over the sink. Its pretty good size 16x16x31. But why didn't they put a shelf in there. So I went to Walmart and got a Expandable shelf. These are called Pop toggles and worked perfect for the walls in the Travel trailer&#4...

Every thing from Camping,Camper Repair,Flower,Fishing and Gardening. Saturday, June 19, 2010. Fort Desoto Camping Trip. We made our first booked Camping trip. And that was at Fort Desoto. We live about an hour away and have been going to Ft. Desoto for the 25 years we have been married, and I have been going there since I was a little girl. But do you know, I have never, ever camped there. So I was super excited to be camping there. This is our favorite vehicle. We used to call it "Big Red" but now w...

Camping and Gardening: COBB Grill!

http://campingandgardening.blogspot.com/2015/04/cobb-grill.html

Every thing from Camping,Camper Repair,Flower,Fishing and Gardening. Saturday, April 11, 2015. I was at a thrift store Friday. Came across something in a big black bag with long handles. It said COBB on top. Well, I had no clue, So unzipped it. And inside. I see this cardboard disk on the lid. You know, like when you buy a new pan and there is a piece of cardboard attached to the top knob to protect it. Now I need to find the rack, and fry pan and extender ring for it. We needed to move the Red shed to the shady area so we can use the old space to make the garden bigger in the full sun area. These are a few pictures so far. We still have so much to do. To get the shed done, everything put back in and get the garden area ready. I will post more pictures later. Thank you for stopping by! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Camping and Gardening: Paint, Pinstrips and Decals

http://campingandgardening.blogspot.com/2009/05/paint-pinstrips-and-decals.html

Every thing from Camping,Camper Repair,Flower,Fishing and Gardening. Monday, May 4, 2009. Paint, Pinstrips and Decals. Pop up has a new coat of paint. It was painted with outdoor semi gloss latex. And it collected dirt and when you wiped it off, the dirt would just smear. So Hubby painted it with Rustoleum Gloss White Enamel. And a foam roller. This turned out great. It's a bright white color. It now has a glossy sheen to it, and the best part, Dirt wipes right off. Then we took the vinyl to Lowes, and g...

Little House in the Big 'Burbs

Tuesday, April 13, 2010. The button wall at Tricoter. In Seattle: one of my favorite destinations within one of my favorite destinations. It could very well be Disneyland to me. A visit to the button wall means that I've recently completed a knitted item. Beth. Instead of the originally intended Pagan. Hopefully, it will be a versatile piece. With help from Ola, I settled on these horn buttons and decided to apply them with the wrong side facing out. I love my local yarn store ;). Posted by The Big Burbs.
