Our financial situation is causing me to get creative for Christmas. I’m actually enjoying the challenge. John and I picked up a couple of things on Black Friday, but otherwise, we’re going to be making most of our Christmas gifts. I am pretty excited about a project I’m working on for Rhys: felt food. I’m inspired by this Japanese site. And this amazing crafter.

I had my final pre-op appointment for LASIK surgery. Apparently, I'm an ideal candidate for LASIK, so I am on for surgery next Saturday. I have been so blind for so long that I can't even imagine being able to see without contacts or glasses. I'm a little nervous to have a flap cut out of my eye, but it's a small price to pay for vision!

Friday, August 30, 2013. When I moved to Arizona, I was determined to do Pat's Run. I was consistently exercising and and was in really good shape, until I got engaged. Then I started being really sporadic with all the wedding planning. Even though I was super out of shape, I still wanted to do it. Scott signed us up on the last day of registration when he was on campus for school. Sunday, October 28, 2012. Scott and I went on a trip to Utah in August. We went to Provo to see old roommates and go to a mission reunion. We stopped in at Jake and Liz's house to see everyone, and especially baby William. The picture isn't good with that window behind, but he was so tiny and cute! The best big brother!
