Wednesday, March 10, 2010. So last night I attended my first adoption class. Our situation with our girls is so unique due to the fact that we were given our daughters and now we are adopting them. So I have been reading any resources I can get and doing my best to care for and understand my children, especially my 4 year old. As I walked up the steps to the building where the class was I fully felt God with me and I knew I was entering a sovereign moment that I wouldn't ever forget. I chuckled to myself.

I grow more and more humbled at the fact that God chose me to spear-head, fight, pray and forge my way through becoming my girl's Mommy. Sunday, April 1, 2012. Stay a little longer. Over the years and after much processing and prayer I have a completely amazing, renewed and restored relationship with my Dad. It's not perfect, but it's pretty sweet. SO, today I got a text from my Dad asking if he could stop by around lunch time. I quickly responded "yes" excited to get some time with him. I finished my makeup in the car on the way there, while my 4 year old asked every question possible, and my 1 year old pulled her bow off her head and pulled her sox off her feet, I began to feel my patience wearing thin. I parked the car in the "expecting mothers" parking slot with no guilt because now I AM a Mom and I am expectant? Wednesday, March 17, 2010. So tonight we were at a bible study with many of our amazing friends, and we were having a time of prayer over one of the couples in our group. When the prayer time was over, one of my closest friends (who does not have children yet) said something that REALLY stuck with me and REALLY convicted me. A lot of this is because I am a performance based perfectionist and super melancholy! But becoming a Mommy to 2 little girls overnight means NOTHING will be perfect or easy or pretty!
