Looking to the Shepherd: June 16, 1986

http://lookingtotheshepherd.blogspot.com/2011/06/june-16-1986.html

Looking to the Shepherd. Thursday, June 16, 2011. June 16, 1986. I can't believe that it has been 25 years since my dad went to be with the Lord. Some of my favorite memories about dad are:. When we were little we went swimming and dad would swim under water and let us ride on his back. Almost EVERY night he would make popcorn with peanuts and we would eat to our heart's content. (I think that is why I still love popcorn.). We used to have a wonderful time playing cards, with Mom, Dad, Grampa and Gramma.

Looking to the Shepherd: May I?

http://lookingtotheshepherd.blogspot.com/2011/05/may-i.html

Looking to the Shepherd. Friday, May 20, 2011. May I just say that I can't believe how fast the month of May has flown by? This school year seems to be one of the fastest I can recall. I am so thankful for the beautiful green leaves/flowers and signs of new life that surround me. One good thing about winter in central new york - is spring! May the Lord bless you this day.He is so worthy to be praised! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Watermark template. Powered by Blogger.

Looking to the Shepherd: Pondering

http://lookingtotheshepherd.blogspot.com/2011/03/pondering.html

Looking to the Shepherd. Monday, March 14, 2011. It seems that most times I am sitting at the computer, I am. I guess the empty page and the lateness of the hour,. Naturally lends itself to wondering about the many. Issues life brings my way. Tonight.I am pondering the devotions that I am. Supposed to lead on March 26th. The ladies luncheon is about "celebrating spring". I am torn between just plain sharing my testimony,. To trying to blend my testimony with a "message". Rubber to meet the road.

Looking to the Shepherd: May 7

http://lookingtotheshepherd.blogspot.com/2011/05/may-7.html

Looking to the Shepherd. Friday, May 6, 2011. Tomorrow, marks the 33rd anniversary of the death of our first-born son, Christopher James. He was a beautiful boy - 4lb 13 ounces of cuteness. When our son, Matthew was born, I was amazed at how much he resembled his brother, Christopher. For the most part, I think that his death made me a much better person in many ways:. I became a Christian after his death. I gained such an intense sense of the value of life, children and family. May 7, 2011 at 4:39 AM.

Tuesday, March 22, 2011. The Waiting Game - Part 2. Jersey Granny - A Day In The Life: Being a Grandparent Changes You

http://jerseygranny.blogspot.com/2013/02/being-grandparent-changes-you.html

Saturday, February 9, 2013. Being a Grandparent Changes You. When my sons were small, it seemed like I was constantly cleaning up after them. Wiping away tiny fingerpints or spilled milk, picking up errant toys and beathing a sigh of frustration because of it. That's all changed now. Of course, partly because they're all grown up and on their own (well, all but one). I know it must sound silly but that's just me. Some of the things that used to frustrate me no longer do. http://jerseygranny.blogspot.com/2011/03/because-you-never-know-when-youre.html

Friday, March 11, 2011. Because You Never Know When You're Making A Memory. Today was a busy grand-girl day. I spent time with three-year old Maeve in the morning (even managing a cousin play-date with our Ryleigh); then, swapped Maeve for her big sister, Amelie, in the afternoon. It was a whirlwind day and I loved every minute of it! That was so much fun! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My Blog About The Grandest Kids In The Land! http://jerseygranny.blogspot.com/2013/02/what-would-you-do-for-love.html

Saturday, February 16, 2013. A Challenge To Love. An unpleasant circumstance has re-entered my life after many years of dormancy, which I cannot air publicly. The. As it shall be know in this post) has the potential to make my life (and those of some of my loved ones) a bit, shall we say, challenging and most unpleasant. I'm sorry. I know I'm being way too vague. But suffice it to say that this. Is going to challenge me to love the unlovable when my very being wants to not love. Together we have four ama...

Having been a teacher I know that 5 or 10 minutes each and every day is worth more than 30 minutes once in a while. Looking to the Stars

Friday, March 23, 2018. I haven't posted here in over a year. I've wanted to. I've had ideas about what to write. I just haven't had that 'oomph' to get me writing. Until now. In January I had decided to add a Whole 30 into the mix. I thought it would help get rid of the 'sugar dragon' that takes over so much of my life. Diet Coke, cookies, reese's cups, m&m's. So much sugar! It's quite clear I'm addicted to sugar. Ugh! I was born with an addictive personality, so I'm basically just screwed anyways!
