Thursday, April 30, 2009. Day 120 April 30. With all the talk about swine flu the hand sanitizer is becoming a way of life at school and at home. It's a little scary since we get such a big influx of people to Cordova during this time of the year. Cannery workers and fishermen come from all over the world to our little town. Prayer and hand sanitizer. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Day 119 April 29. It was really nice again today although a little colder than yesterday. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. It's finally ...

This is on their second day, they were a little nervous and really enjoyed snuggling together in this cozy fleece tube. This is one of the babies scampering around on their first night in their new home. They were very excited to explore the huge cage. Day 93 to Day 101. Oh my poor neglected blog! Day 91 and 92.

Sunday, October 25, 2009. Days 292 - 298. Kate's school doesn't allow food birthday treats, so we made up these bags with pencils and stencils for her to take in to the kids in her class. I scrapped the toppers using Kristin Aagard's Trick or Treat kit from the Shabby Pickle. Lucy putting her name on her homework for preschool - she needed to bring in something for the letter E, we settled on "envelope". Sunday, October 18, 2009. Days 285 - 291. A quick pic of Kate and her dad, he was listening to her re...

Saturday, January 31, 2009. Day 27, 28, 29 and 30. I am taking the photos, I just fall behind on posting! MQ was home sick yesterday so we had a day of projects. She made some beautiful window art. Ingredients for a super duper bean and sausage soup that we love. I'm a big fan of legumes! The recipe is here: http:/ www.recipezaar.com/Black-Bean-and-Smoked-Sausage-Soup-103361. I use a different mix of beans every time. The black eyed peas were a great addition this time! More snow and rain on the way!

Friday, February 27, 2009. Day 57: Thursday, 2/26/09. We love to decorate cookies anytime of year. We just get packaged sugar cookies in a roll and slice them off and have some fun. LYX suggested that we should have a tradition of decorating cookies for all holidays and season changes and several other events too. So pretty much anytime we wish from what I can tell. We just need to find colored sugar that isn't red and green! Thursday, February 26, 2009. Day 53 to 56 Catch Up. Day 56: Wednesday, 2/25/09.

We spend part of the weekend on Kelleys Island on Lake Erie - here's Kate checking out the view from our van on the ferry ride over. The Island was celebrating Island Fest, it was a lot of fun! Monday, November 30, 2009. Jeff's birthday and a cute pic with the girls. He and I went to Cleveland to see his favorite Basketball team, they won, it was so much fun (and we got to get away! Horrible, grainy point and shoot pic though. :. We are so excited for Christmas this year, both girls are old enough to really understand it all and to show such enthusiasm for every part of the season. We decorated our tree and had a lot of fun watching the girls carefully hang each ornament. You made my day!

Monday, June 29, 2009. Day 179 June 28. My new glasses came in. I can see better! We leave for Oregon today so I'm not sure how faithful I will be to postin daily. I'll get the photo taken. Sunday, June 28, 2009. Day 178 June 27. We spent a lot of time at the ball field today. It was the last day of the season so there was a barbeque with the typical Cordova spread of food! Then later in the day we went on a picnic with family and friends. The company was great, but the bugs were horrid! Day 177 June 26.

Monday, June 29, 2009. Kate was so proud of herself, she gave Ivy a new hairdo today. She made two braids and then hooked them together at the back and gave her a coordinating barrette :). I mentioned Clickin' Moms yesterday - yes, it's a pay site. I signed up a the very beginning and got 3 months for $5, since then the price has jumped - it's 6 months for $30 and a year for $50. I had forgotten how much it was, I better start hanging out there more! Sunday, June 28, 2009. Back home. yea. :(. Here the gi...
