Sunday, October 4, 2009. TWO OF A KIND. Zac and I just got back from a trip to Vegas, and we had so much fun! I plan on posting more pictures here eventually (especially of the little boys), but wanted to start here with me and my twin sis. I miss living by her SO much, but I know we'll always have what we have. THANKS SO MUCH for letting us come and invade your house. I love your family (and already miss you all), and I am so excited to meet the new little set of twins coming soon! TWO OF A KIND.

Zachary got to play with his cousins Carter and Clara who, as you can see, where respectively Luke and Leia Skywalker. Mom and little Goofy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Monday, January 12, 2009. We had a great Christmas. We went to Denver and visited Tarali and Alex. Julianne, Jon and Jack also met us there. It was lots of fun! Here are some pics. She is a full 2 pounds smaller than my other two were at this age! All the easier to pack her little self around. Her hair is coming in and looks to be light brown. Monday, July 22, 2013. A Couple of Weeks In. We've had this little girl at home with us for two weeks now, and boy, do we all love her! One silly thing that has happened with the birth of each of my children is that I miss being pregnant. What? I've bonded easily to this little one. Monday, July 7, 2008. A little sugar please. This morning I got the kids their oatmeal and left the brown sugar out (big mistake). I went upstairs to start unpacking and sorting through loads and loads of laundry, and came down to find Claire had helped herself to a little extra brown sugar! Enjoy it now Claire, I don't make the same mistake twice. She had already eaten most of the oatmeal, so she was eating an entire bowl of sugar. 4th of July with the Hafens. Claire and cousin Kate. Sunday, January 1, 2012. 2011 definitely had some sad times but I must say that the birth of our little Marshall made it one of the best years of my life! Marshall did great on his first long car trip and first hotel stay. He slept the longest he has ever slept at once 11:00-6:00 in the hotel. We're going to have to go on vacation more often.ha. Mark & Marie - Home

Marie is now 31 weeks pregnant and doing great, though she is now home on bedrest (which basically means staying home as much as possible, resting a lot, and not doing too much.) I mistakenly thought it meant lying down in bed 24 hours a day. Apparently not. However, we now have more clothes for newborns and 0-6 months than we can probably use. The Story of Us. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. The Virginia Creeper Trail is an old railway now purposed into a bike trail through the mountains of Virginia. From the top of mountain, and I use that term loosely since mountains are more like hills around these parts, it is a seventeen mile coast down to the bottom. We headed up to Virginia Friday morning with our friends the Starks. We anticipated a leisurely ride, enjoying the scenery, and stopping for picnics and play. Hah! We loaded up and began our decent.
