Friday, June 23, 2017. So much has happened. Still, I'm posting here more for the sake of historical record than because I'm inspired to write. You take what you can get I guess. We've found a house (in Milton) and moved in, and are mostly settled. We have a car (Volkswagen Golf) and have taken a few excursions in it. We've already had two getaways by plane - to Toulouse in France, and to Tenerife. Both were lovely. Marjorie has a job lined up but is waiting for final approval. Friday, January 27, 2017.

Wednesday, December 03, 2014. Thoughts on our most recent trip back to the USA. This visit back was a reminder of how pretty the United States is, especially in Autumn. We don’t have the same dramatic colours here in Melbourne. Culturally the US seems more and more foreign to me each visit back as well. I think this is probably equally attributed to my getting older and just being out of touch with pop culture as it is with the time away. We were glad to have you back if just for a dew days.

Others in my family are having health issues at the moment, which I won't go into (other than to say "Hi! Instead I'll talk about my own. For them, where they jab a needle into my kidney, break up the stone, and suck out the pieces. Twice, for the two stones. After a few years, we'll say it's not a bad place, but not as dynamic as we'd like. But I just found this video about it. Made by a realtor if you're curious. The Story of Us. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. The Virginia Creeper Trail is an old railway now purposed into a bike trail through the mountains of Virginia. From the top of mountain, and I use that term loosely since mountains are more like hills around these parts, it is a seventeen mile coast down to the bottom.
