I arrived into KL with my girlfriend Mel after a very rushed departure from Australia but it still hadn't sunk in that we had packed up all our belongings and quit our jobs. We arrived into Marrakech in the evening on the 9th June 2008 after a long lay over in Madrid coming from London, England. After the usual customs fun we made our way outside to get a ride into town. The next moring we had a little bit of a sleep in as we tried to shake the last of Morocco from us. I had stomach pains and Moroc Jock the day before. Maroc jock was diahorrea, a name we came up with at the start of the trip as a joke but I caught it on the last day. That afternoon we went down the road to Notre Dame (which means Our Lady). This was my first European church visit and I was more than impressed. The roof was so high, the building so old, the stained glass so colourful, what a sight!

Today is the last day of our London trip. We have been here for 4 nights so pretty quick. It's my first time and Mel's second. She came here for her work visa a few years back but I've never really had a urge to come here. That was until I got here. We're off to Morocco tomorrow so it's time to pack our bags.
