I'm thankful for her. she has sat with me through these years of grief and moving on. it may sound silly, but she has provided lots of joy and lots of fun during initially lonely times. she sleeps at my feet as i write this, and i just have to take a moment to thank the Lord for her companionship. and her ability to adapt to different environments in stressful situations. When week 13 rolled around it meant we officially had a 3 month old. i had one of the MAs at work weigh him and measure him since we don't have another appointment with the pediatrician until he is 4 months. he weighed in at a whopping 12 lbs, 5 oz and measured 23.5 inches long. This was taken while salem slept in my office. he is a lazy assistant. :). I love this picture so much!
