From The Way I See It. Asymp; 1 Comment. Quite possibly the most disturbing fashion trend of the century (so far):. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I had to do some serious searching [not really] to find a picture that wasn’t too shocking. Maybe this will just increase public acceptance of men in tights (good for ballet). Asymp; Leave a comment. Funny thing – I recently saw this series of Foxtrot strips:. And then this morning, I woke up with a red spot on my nose! Asymp; Leave a comment.

From The Way I See It. Asymp; Leave a comment. Slowly getting better… at a rate of 1 hour improvement every three hours. Still to late to get me into Orange County instead of LAX… pesky curfew. Also – Southwest – just a suggestion… maybe it’s better to wait until a couple hours before the flight departs to send the notification. And let me be completely oblivious to the craziness that Midwest storms can wreak on scheduling. Larr; Previous post. Next post →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. A Day in LA.

The way I see it…. Book Review: Cry, The Beloved Country. Catching Up →. February 8, 2015. Last Friday I went up to the city with two things on my list… my day did not turn out as expected, but I had fun exploring a couple new places. My day started in Chinatown…. The way I see it…. February 1, 2015. I took the afternoon of MLK day off to join a couple good friends for some quality time and another trip to the beach. This time a little further south in Capitola. We started with lunch at Gayle’s–a bustling deli and bakery with all sorts of delicious looking options. Lunch was followed by a bakery splurge and some hot chocolate, which we took with us down to the beach where we settled into the sand for some sunshine and conversation. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

The way I see it…. Book Review: The Hiding Place. A bit of beauty →. Book Review: Daring Greatly. March 8, 2015. Let’s start with Brene’s definition of love:. 8220;We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known, and when we honor the spiritual connection that grows from that offering with trust, respect, kindness and affection. Love is not something we give or get; it is something we nurture and grow, a connection that can only be cultivated between tw...

The way I see it…. Book Review: The Hiding Place →. February 15, 2015. I took the second of my letterpress classes this week. Our project was a one color broadside print – a few lines of type and a picture. We spent the first night of class selecting and setting type. The next night we finished setting and locked the type up in the press and mixed this pretty green ink:. I’m hoping to take the last two classes by mid summer and then I have all sorts of projects in mind🙂. September 13, 2015 at 9:29 pm.

The way I see it…. England – Bournemouth. October 18, 2015. My last day we stuck around Bournemouth to take advantage of some sunny weather on the coast. The way I see it…. Book Review: Daring Greatly →. Book Review: The Hiding Place. February 21, 2015. This one was a re-read for me and I loved it just as much the second time through. It’s the story of a Christian Dutch family that is part of the underground in Amsterdam during World War II. They were caught and sent to various Nazi labor camps and concentration camps and Corrie lived to tell the story. 8220;I tried to smile, I struggled to raise my hand. I could not. The way I see it…. Book Review: Daring Greatly. March 8, 2015. I started reading this book a few months ago, but didn’t get very far. Liz Wiseman spoke at our Stake Women’s Conference yesterday morning about ‘Finding Comfort in our Discomfort Zones’ and I’ve been thinking about what we discussed in that session and decided to spend a lovely Sunday afternoon (70 and sunny – in March) out in the sun on my patio soaking up a little more of this book. Archives 2008 and 2009. The Way I See It. December 17, 2009 by melissakae45. I went to go see this inspiring movie last night and thought it was well casted. Morgan Freeman is fantastic–in almost everything he does–this was no exception. I was reminded that I know so little about history (such recent history! And world events. I was also inspired to find something to read about the life of Nelson Mandela – perhaps his autobiography. Long Walk to Freedom. Actually, who are you not to be? Art thou in truth?

Wir koennen alles. Ausser Hochdeutsch. 8220;We can do anything. Except speak German.”. June 13, 2008. At 11:40 pm by Melissa. Over the weekend, I went camping (well, basically), in the Donautal, a lush valley in the south-west. Every time our cheerful guides traipsed us up and down the steep way to town, they would emphasize that a hundred thousand years ago, this place was a lake. Instead, they made me think that maybe I.
