The Hungry Monkey: March 2010
http://shutupjoey.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
It's easy when you just follow the recipe. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. In December, Kev and I went to this fancy French restaurant to celebrate 3 wonderful years as a couple. The restaurant had a fabulous tasting menu. It was about 15 courses! Our favorite was the restaurants signature dish, the lobster bisque. It was light and fragrant. The following months, whenever we had lobster, i'd keep the lobster shells in the freezer to eventually make lobster broth for a bisque. 2 medium slices onion. The first ti...

For some snapshots, after visiting the tribute community site to Lee Kuan Yew. The weather was initially cloudy but the sun came out later. I have two other posts about the gardens, HERE. If you go during the weekday afternoons, the gardens are practically empty. First off is the Swan Lake. The pair of white swans were hiding in the corner. There were newly i...

A Breath Of French Air: Easter Carrot Project with Hummus Appetizer
http://allthingsetsy2222.blogspot.com/2014/04/easter-carrot-project-with-hummus.html
A Breath Of French Air. Monday, April 21, 2014. Easter Carrot Project with Hummus Appetizer. I made this really cute appetizer for Easter brunch yesterday and snapped a few pictures as I was putting it together. For this project you need baby carrots, cilantro, toothpicks, Dixie cups, and clay pots (very small pots). I purchased the clay pots at Hobby Lobby, but I am sure you can pick them up almost anywhere. I used a flat basket to transport the pots in. I put all the pots (12) in the basket, along with...

A Breath Of French Air: Spring Has Arrived
http://allthingsetsy2222.blogspot.com/2014/02/spring-has-arrived.html
A Breath Of French Air. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. We are still experiencing snow in ice in the MidWest , but in my soap kitchen, Spring has arrived! This green and yellow soap is made with 3 different pear fragrances. The scent is light and fresh and perfect for Spring! The swirl was to be light and airy, but as soon as I poured the fragrance oil in, the soap thickened up. And I jammed the soap into the mold. Not a bad. The soap IS very pink, but not as bright as the batter looked! Lime in the Coconut.

A Breath Of French Air: Learning how to take pictures
http://allthingsetsy2222.blogspot.com/2013/10/learning-how-to-take-pictures.html
A Breath Of French Air. Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Learning how to take pictures. I have wanted a new camera for several years now, and I finally received a new one for my Birthday! It has many bells and whistles, which is fun, but it means I have to learn how to use all the bells and whistles! I tried my hand at taking pictures off the auto setting. We went to the Americana Music Awards in Nashville last month. I took this picture inside. I obviously need more time on the camera! A Breath Of French Air.
