Wednesday, October 17, 2012. This was a new recipe that turned out GrEAt! This was the first time I've let my students cook with hot oil, and it went off without a hitch! 1 onion, chopped. 1 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil. 1 medium tomato, chopped. 1 clove garlic, minced. 4 oz green chilies, chopped. 1 lb ground beef. 4 oz mild cheddar cheese, grated. 10 flour tortillas (10-inches). Vegetable oil for frying. 1Saute onions and garlic in oil in a medium frying pan for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve with salsa and sour cream.
