It wasn’t easy deciding which topic to pursue for my first post on management style, but I finally decided on “Lead from the front”. The title pretty much says it all and to many this tenet will seem obvious, but I’ve frequently worked with managers who don’t seem to know this rule. In my answer I spoke of the importance of “collaboration” and “communication”… important things, yes… but in the end my answer was a rambling, blathering mess.
