Operation Christmas Child | thegrowinggrimms
https://thegrowinggrimms.wordpress.com/2015/11/07/operation-christmas-child
Musings on Growing Physically…Emotionally…Spiritually. November 7, 2015. Several years ago, my side of the family gave up doing gift exchanges (except for the kiddos) and instead we each take a turn picking an organization and all donating to it. I love this…especially since buying gifts is stressful to me. This year it was our turn, and we chose Operation Christmas Child. I have been participating since I was in college and now am elated to be doing it with my kiddos. Peter chucking the balls everywhere.

Musings on Growing Physically…Emotionally…Spiritually. October with a Couple of Mouses. October 31, 2015. Mickey and Minnie Mouse for 2015 Halloween. A festive week of painting and carving pumpkins. Anne was brave enough to even stick her hand inside the pumpkin and help take out the slime and seeds. Anne has formed a deep attachment to these pumpkins as we say hello and goodbye to them every time we leave the house. October 31, 2015 at 9:43 pm. I love the costumes! Sounds like a fun night! Musings on Growing Physically…Emotionally…Spiritually. October 8, 2015. It was a slow percentage incline of walking vs crawling and now I’d say it is 90% walking to 10% crawling…it sure makes this momma happy as this almost 16 month totters around as happy as can be. Anne is being so grown up, and it makes this momma have so many emotions. Enjoying our new porch swing. October 9, 2015 at 6:19 am. I love the pictures and the words in this post. I’m always so happy to see growth and life and love!

Musings on Growing Physically…Emotionally…Spiritually. September 16, 2015. Anne being potty trained by having special dessert and a special crown in the shape of a toilet. Here is my BIG take away from potty training: When you begin, buy a big beautiful bouquet of flowers to place in the bathroom because momma dear you are going to be in there a lot, and it was delightful to have flowers from my mom’s garden looking back at me…I now permanently have flowers in there. Musings on Growing Physically…Emotionally…Spiritually. September 21, 2015. Saturday was a beautiful day, and we made the choice to leave behind to-do lists and endless list to have some family time at Oxbow park. It is always the right choice. We were there for so long… just watching our children play and play and play as Ryan and I enjoyed the sun. Hopefully these pictures give a better idea:. Fun sculptures and an eagle’s nest the kids can play in. They also had bells and a big gong. The Kids say that ...

Cat Pfenning | a new song
A lovely little lunch. October 17, 2016. Hey, I'm Cat! The moment both kids were in bed, I ran to the kitchen to sit down with my small plate of food like I was reuniting with a best friend. It was so nice to sit. But then I had to pee. Should I feel bad for wanting to be alone with my food, no one to snatch my grilled cheese and beg for chips? I’m not really one to pray at mealtimes, but I did find myself thinking/praying,. Thank God for kids who sleep. This is so good. The End. For now.
