Wonky Patchwork: March 2015
http://wonkypatchwork.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
A blog about fun, colourful patchwork, sewing, thrifting, children and crafts generally. Follow me on pinterest. Tuesday, 31 March 2015. 1) I thought it was about time I shared some yoyo love. I've been hand sewing these here and there for the past couple of months. The plan is to use them on a quilt, and I'm itching to start the quilt, but I'm being quite disciplined and want to finish Maria's quilt first. There's a little pile on the left not spread out, I got a bit bored arranging them towards the end!

Pillow swap four seasons 2016. Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Oh, how I love the summer months! I was born on the first day of summer and really come to life when the sun comes out and warms my heart. I love hot and humid weather and can't get enough of it. I lived in the "South" (North Carolina) for many years and remember lots of years where we had heat waves of 100 °F! We didn't always have air conditioning in the house either, so we really had to suffer! 100 Blocks Vol. 11. With all of the Designers Block...

I was at my new class about free motion quilting (FMQ) last week, and my machine got all jammed up. I was having problems with dropping the transport (and needle) and getting the right tension on my bottom thread. I had a bunch of Kuddel-Muddel. On the bottom of my fabric. And then, all of a sudden, it locked itself down! Here it what my Kuddel-Muddel.

Sandra Sews :): May 2015

My little corner of the interwebs :). Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Yay a fun finish to report! I started a pillow project. And finally got it finished :) I did this guy a bit differently than the tutorial - I used a 20" pillow form instead of stuffing it, and I quilted the legs instead of stuffing them. It turned out pretty cute! I did have problems with the leather nose, but you can't really notice unless you get up really close to that area - and who gets that close to a polar bear's nose?
