¸.·´¯) Musings from Mumbai (¯`·.¸

Saturday, July 15, 2006. Thanks to my rain-rides and slipping on ferry gangways, I had managed to bend my girl's handlebar. Although very minor, I could feel the discomfort while riding her on straight roads. The steering felt a whole lot smoother and the handlebar and front-wheel were now perfectly aligned. I guess that's what the magic of the Pardewala, next to the Sai Mandir in Vile Parle, is all about. Posted by Just Me at 11:00 AM. Wednesday, July 12, 2006. Posted by Just Me at 9:20 AM. Musings From My Front Porch

Musings From My Front Porch. Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Straight Paths On a Winding Road. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. A common passage, used often, read often. Understood fully? Sunday, January 1, 2012. 2012 - A New Year. It seems as though all around me people are losing those they hold close. It happens way too often and way more than it used to. Is it because I'm older? Absolutely&#46...

Musings from My Heart

Musings from My Heart. Thoughts and ponderings, ideas and insights, creation and creations, seeking and sharing how to live a life pleasing to my LORD God and Savior. Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Nearly 29 years ago, God blessed us with a child - a son. I always felt that my second pregnancy in 1987 was a girl, but it ended before we could know. I had hoped for a daughter or a special girl to come into my life with whom I could share my love of crafting. Links to this post. Saturday, August 27, 2011. One of...

Musings from my journey

Musings from my journey. The diagnosis (from Feb 2014). September 24, 2014. I didn’t cry until the surgeon told me that I would need a mastectomy. I couldn’t believe there was a lump at first. I googled ‘breast lumps’ and the information I took was not to worry; that most lumps in the breast are nothing; that women approaching menopause often get lumps, etc etc. I then looked up the government’s free Breastscreen service. Long story short, I went to have my initial mammogram on January 22. ...After the p...

Musings from Mylapore

Musings from Mylapore: You will find musings, random thoughts, inspiration and quirky views by yours truly. Monday, 13 April 2015. A new avatar of Musings. I started this blog sometime two years ago and posted stuff about Raks and the very many quaint things that I came across in Mylapore. But I haven't posted anything here since October due to many reasons. As always work commitments topped the list and the fact that Raks has suddenly grown too big for my blog. Do I look like a vampire? Whom did I bite?

Musings from my Messy Kitchen

Recipes, ideas, and rants of a frazzled mommy. Friday, September 12, 2014. Low Carb Caprese Cottage Cheese Salad. Caprese salad, juicy vine ripened tomatoes, basil, fresh mozzerella., and if your lucky a drizzle of balsamic reduction. Yum! It's my favorite summer side dish! But when I'm looking for something quick and nutritious, that fills my tummy with low carb goodness even as a quick lunch, this is my new go to. 1/2 c 2% cottage cheese. 1 vine ripened or heirloom tomato. 1/2 tbsp olive oil. If you've...
