Racing diary
A record of the races I've attended. Entered six weeks earlier, when it seemed like a really good idea. Then, sort of forgot about it. The first half was really pleasant. Nice weather with nice steady running and plodding up the ups. We made the cut off with twelve or so minutes to spare. After then, it all went, a lot, less pleasant. The energy zapping bogs taking everything out of my legs, leaving me, uninterested in running the last few miles. Another enjoyable run around Church Stretton, Shropshire.

Breakfast – 7.30am (35g protein, 35g carbs, 20g fat). Mid morning snack – 10.30am (15g protein, 30g carbs, 10g fat). Lunch – 1.30pm (25g protein, 60g carbs, 30g fat). Afternoon snack – 3.30pm (15g protein, 30g carbs, 10g fat). Pre-workout – 6.30pm (10g protein, 35g carbs, 0g fat). Workout – 7.30pm. Day one: target calories and macronutrients.
