My Training Adventures | Live the Dream or Die Trying
Live the Dream or Die Trying. January 13, 2015. I look around and I see other people training and from the outside it appears to come so easy. I know that they have struggles too, and I am sure that there are days that they would rather just sit on the couch, but they are out there doing it. So how do they do it? What keeps them motivated to keep going? All of this for me to try and find the motivation to keep going. And why do I need motivation to do something that I actually enjoy doing? September mark...

Racing diary
A record of the races I've attended. Entered six weeks earlier, when it seemed like a really good idea. Then, sort of forgot about it. The first half was really pleasant. Nice weather with nice steady running and plodding up the ups. We made the cut off with twelve or so minutes to spare. After then, it all went, a lot, less pleasant. The energy zapping bogs taking everything out of my legs, leaving me, uninterested in running the last few miles. Another enjoyable run around Church Stretton, Shropshire.

Dorothy's Training Blog | A record of my adventures in multisport
Dorothy’s Training Blog. A record of my adventures in multisport. Posted January 6, 2009. The teachers were both very nice and encouraging, and I felt like I got a decent amount of attention, in spite of that fact that there were a dozen or so people there. I also did the backstroke for the first time since I was a kid! Posted January 5, 2009. And my doctor says I can try running again this week. Only 10 minutes at a time, but it’s a start. I’m supposed to stop immediately if it hurts...My current swimmi...
