Thursday, 16 February 2012. That could be used for my book cover design brief. I really like these designs and pattern work that make up the image. I also like the print quality on some of these, the rough texture and out of line. I want to look a using one or two colours for my collection, and many of these use this many colours. Wednesday, 10 February 2010. The beginning of the prints. Using monoprinting. Testing out screenprinting, just using cyan and magenta. Drew the image out by hand. Very 'messy' and unsure, however, it is only an experiment! Collagraph work, using an angry duck as the image. I really like how these have turned out. I think the textures really work. This is the plate that was used to ink up with oil paint. Cyan, Yellow, Magenta and Black (CYMK):. Magenta and cyan on the left and added yellow on the right.

Wednesday, 30 May 2012. I have realised that I have not acted as much as I should have in this module. I managed to gain a small placement but have found it difficult to go back due to lack of studio space. I should have emailed more studios and got my work out there much more, but I personally felt that my work was not at a good enough point and I wasn't fully happy with the standard it was at. Wednesday, 30 May 2012. Throughout this module, I have found that organisation skills have been critical in order to get the work done on time and to a good quality. Although I have struggled to keep up with my own deadlines, I have managed to get my work done to a satisfactory standard.
