Tuesday, 22 May 2012. Got a print slot today, thank god! So going to get my posters printed. been working on the M&S one that will be seen in the shop and on Lorries etc. Using the same colours as the packaging but made it look a bit different so it will stand out more. I have kept the textures consistent with the rest of the products. so they fit in. but I haven't been able to do same illustrations. this is something I will change at a later date. Wednesday, 10 February 2010. The beginning of the prints. Using monoprinting. Testing out screenprinting, just using cyan and magenta. Drew the image out by hand. Very 'messy' and unsure, however, it is only an experiment! Collagraph work, using an angry duck as the image. I really like how these have turned out. I think the textures really work. This is the plate that was used to ink up with oil paint. Cyan, Yellow, Magenta and Black (CYMK):. Magenta and cyan on the left and added yellow on the right.

I managed to gain a small placement but have found it difficult to go back due to lack of studio space.
